Mcheck; Genetic Disease Prediction & Analysis
Genome Analysis for Disease Prediction
It aims to analyze the genes related to the occurrence of a certain disease, such as a chronic disease or cancer, to predict a person’s disease susceptibility or risk. It is a next-generation personalized healthcare program that predicts the future risk of disease occurrence in a person through genome analysis, and that presents the direction of healthcare management based on the analysis results.
Difference between diagnostic examination and genomic analyses for disease prediction
-Diagnostic examination: This refers to determination of disease status of the patient by a doctor, idnetifying and judging a disease that has already occurred.
-Genomic analyses: This is a test that predicts possibility of different diseases by measuring probability and risk from genetic information of incidence through management of lifestyle.
Difference between genetic analysis and biomarker test for cancer
Generally, hospitals perform screening test for cancer. This type of cancer may already be progressing or possibly spreading to other tissues so it is too late for prevention or intervention. Also, this screening test for cancer is targeted towards proteins, not chromosomes.
Genetic analysis contains information about the probability of cancer and allows time for patients for early diagnosis and intervention.

Our Test Equipments
Epoch
The Multi-Volume Plate offer up to 16 measurements with low volume sample (2 μl) and ability to read the Biocell and standard cuvette.
7500 Fast Real-Time PCR
This third generation platform features an innovative optical system that enhances sensitivity and lets you access a broader range of fluorophores. The variable excitation capability allows greater sensitivity for longer wavelength (red) dyes.
Agilent Mx3000p QPCR
Mx3000P QPCR Systems are the most flexible—and reliable—instruments available for gene expression analysis, microarray data validation, SNP genotyping, pathogen detection, DNA methylation analysis, and chromatin immuno-precipitation studies.
QuantStudio™ 6 Flex
It is designed for use with three interchangeable blocks (96-well standard, 96-well fast, or 384-well plates) to fit mid-level throughput needs. Detect as small as 1.5-fold changes in singleplex reactions and 10 logs dynamic range.
QuantStudio™ 12K Flex
The QuantStudio™ 12K Flex blocks accomodate 96-well, FAST 96-well, 384-well, TaqMan® array cards, and OpenArray® plates, for effortless scaling from 1 to 12,000 data points in a single run.
ABI 3730xl DNA Analyzer
The ABI 3730 is a 48 to 96 capillary electrophoresis instrument for DNA sequencing or DNA fragment analysis. The 3730 has the capability of processing 460 samples of up to 1000 base pair sequences per 24 hour period.
Agilent 2100 Bioanalyze
rThe Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer system provides sizing, quantitation and quality control of DNA, RNA, proteins and cells on a single platform, providing high quality digital data.
Nextseq 500
The NextSeq 500 System is the only NGS system capable of sequencing a whole human genome at high coverage (30×) in one run.
QX200 ddPCR™
The QX200 Droplet Digital PCR system provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules for EvaGreen or probe-based digital PCR applications.
